MACGAP Brackets allow the rear of your hard lid to be safely elevated for carrying oversized loads or improving airflow—available in 100mm, 150mm, and 200mm sizes.
MACGAP Brackets are a simple and effective solution designed to give your MAC Utes hard lid added flexibility when transporting oversized, awkward, or tall loads.
Available in three sizes — 100mm, 150mm, and 200mm — these brackets allow the rear of the hard lid to be elevated when required, creating additional clearance and airflow. When not in use, the brackets can be quickly flipped back, allowing the lid to close and operate as normal without removing the system.
This makes MACGAP Brackets ideal for a wide range of applications, from carrying timber and long equipment through to recreational use such as transporting surfboards or improving ventilation when travelling with dogs.
Choosing the Right Size
- 100mm: Recommended for small to medium dogs or light clearance needs
- 150mm: Ideal for larger dogs, general use, and most oversized loads, best suited for long boards (e.g. surfboards) or
- 200mm: maximum clearance (not compatible with American Ute Lids or sports bar compatible hard lids)
